I teach knitting and spinning at my studio in Cushing, Maine. Occasionally, I travel to lead classes at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Deer Isle Maine, or at the Split Rock Arts Program at the University of Minnesota. Cushing is a very small village, about twelve miles down a quiet peninsula that reaches deep into Muscongus Bay. The studio is a gallery workspace, a barn-like building on a hill overlooking a wide tidal estuary.
There are Bed and Breakfast Inns in Friendship Village, close by, and a wider choice, including hotels and restaurants, in Rockland.
